Also I have Polish translation of menus, but I don know the author so - i think - can not public it without permission. I try to install file /usr/share/tuxbox/neutrino/locale/polski.locale but it is read onlu=y filesystem so it is impossible to copy.

Please make a full translation of the english.locale, so we can it also activate at the GIT. You can test your translation on my image if you copy the file polish.locale to /var/tuxbox/config/locale.

Maybe the tuner crash how by Friedel and some others. Seems to be a "hardware thingy". Only a reboot helps then. I have such problems here not with a AV7000.

I dont think so. I have not such problems with original soft and Hyperion.

Org. Software is not a problem, sure - but because the drivers are not public so they are "self made" by tdt and others. So we can not compare this between alternative software.

Yes, I know. It is not possible to compare original software and Open-Source. But "hanging" of tuner is a big disadvantage. So satbox is not house-wife-proof. I think it looks like time - hazardous between staring processes related problem. It is because, sometimes it starts correctly

Do you have a rcS of the Hyperion? Maybe we can see if the direction of the modules are changed comparing to the GIT rcS.

Yes, I have. And "Waiting for time" info is display does not matter ntp or DVB time sync I use.

The rcS seems to be nearly the same as the GIT, except the smartcard module is missing (no smartcard slot possible).

EDIT: Hmm, the locale is not complete. You have only 1514 lines, the english has 2121 lines, the german and russkij 2129 lines (org. GIT). Addional lines (Extras Menu) not countet. Do you used the old neutrino? If yes, this is not compatible, sorry...

So why it starts every time correctly? The only problem I have with Hyperion is that after "deep standby" does not want to boot from pen, hanging on "BOOTING" info on the display. I dont know why, probably pen related problem. But if it starts, no problems with tuners or time sync.

Time sync is network related (if used). Maybe E2 have an other tuner initalisation. If the kernel the same you can try to use the driver stv090x.ko from E2 to compare if this one works with neutrino or not.

Time sync is not network related problem because I use ntp on the same physical box and ntp works as should be. Using tne same ntp server ntp.icm.edu.pl. But as I wrote, syncing over DVB does not resolve the problem.
Whats concerning driver module changing between Neutrino and Hyperion - I am not developer. So it is a little bit difficult for me. Sorry...

Just copy the driver to /var/lib-misc and reboot the box. If the box not starting, no problem. There is no shutdown, so you can delete the file at the bootloop and per telnet the box reboot with command reboot or init 6.

The ntp is an other on my image (can be changed in settings), but should also works. Time via DVB can only works if the tuner has a working channel (and maybe the option set to time sync DVB).

OK. I will test tomorrow (today) exchanging stv090x.ko using both Neutrino and H3 on USB pen.
And You use rdata for time sync, H3 uses ntpd.
Is any user defined file, executed after Neutrino boots to include in it my own shell commands?

You can use voremu.sh or vorneutrino.sh in /var/etc. What for commands you need?
