can be saved as a "favorite" the ritch where I mounted the network share?
every time I go to "menu" - "movie player" - "movie" - and look for the folder on the network share.

Just change the path for the default directory (recording menu).
TS Movie player is the Standard player for own recordings, the other is, how the name says, the "allround" player for other formats than *.ts.

Use the web-if of the box
In I-Net Explorer: Box-IP ==> Settings ==> Movieplayer ( on left side )
There change : Start Directory
Save ==> leave explorer ==> restart Box
